Madhavan homesick on 'Jodi Breakers' shoot?

Madhavan reportedly missed his wife while shooting the film Jodi Breakers.

The actor plays the male lead opposite Bipasha Basu in the romantic comedy.

A source told The Times of India: "There was a scene in the song where Milind Soman buys some jewellery for Dipannita Sharma. Madhavan and Bipasha just had to watch them buying it.

"The scene got Maddy missing his wife Sarita so much that as soon as the shot was wrapped up, he actually ended up buying an expensive jewellery piece to surprise her. This left all the female cast and crew in awe!"

The Tamil star has defended the film from accusations that it copies a 2010 French romance called Heartbreaker.

Co-star Basu recently admitted that she had found kissing her real-life friend Madhavan for the movie "unnerving".
