The actress stars opposite Kumar in the thriller, which has broken box-office records in India.
She told The Times of India: "I think [Akshay]'s rowdier than me, in fact, he treated me like a boy-buddy on the sets. He punched me and pushed me around. All the ladylike charm went down the drain when the cameras were off. I became one of the guys. I was even called 'bhaisaab'!"
Sinha added that she loved working with both Dabanng co-star Salman Khan and Kumar.
"Both are a lot of fun to work with. Akshay is a total Punjabi munda, he doesn't have starry airs. He's like a back-slapping buddy. Salman and I have a great equation, I knew him as a family-friend before Dabangg, he's a very good friend," she said.
In an interview with Digital Spy, the newcomer said she is keen to work with any actor if the film in question is good.
