Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra are half a million followers behind him, making Bachchan the most popular Bollywood star on Twitter.
Chopra has 2,593,468 followers, while Shah Rukh Khan has 2,535,851 followers on Twitter.

Bachchan's Twitter handle was recently confirmed as the highest-valued Indian account on the microblogging site, worth an estimated £740,809 ($1.14m).
