Sonakshi Sinha says she is 'not a lucky charm' for her films

Sonakshi Sinha has said she hopes Joker replicates the success of Rowdy Rathore.

Rowdy Rathore made over 100 crores at the box office and was the biggest film of co-star Akshay Kumar's 20-year career. Joker is Sinha's second film with the Desi Boyz star.

Speaking to IANS, the Dabangg star said: "If this film gets a push because of our previous film (Rowdy Rathore), then it would be a good thing for us and our producers, who are the same, UTV. If a pair has worked then it will definitely benefit in future as well."

The 25-year-old actress's first two releases have been box office successes entering the Rs.100 crores club. However, Sinha said she does not think of herself as a lucky charm.

"As far as the lucky charm tag is concerned, you have given me that tag and tomorrow it will be someone else."

Sinha is currently shooting for Dabangg 2 and Lootera, and has completed Son of Sardsar with Ajay Devgn. The actress has also reportedly signed up for a Bollywood adaptation of Hannibal.

Joker will be released on August 31.
