The cold weather conditions reportedly aggravated Khan's existing health issues, but he chose to play this down.
Speaking to NDTV Movies, he said: "Everyone goes through problems. Let's not make a big deal about it. There are people with more stress and yet no one talks about them.
"Yes, I had problems doing action scenes, as we were doing stunts without cables and harnesses. All these did take a huge toll on me, but it's fine."
When asked about reports of further surgery, the 46-year-old actor replied: "Everyone needs their routine check-ups and so do I. The only difference is that I have to go to LA for my check-up."
The actor has been suffering with a nerve disorder which causes extreme pain in the face.
