Charlotte Church

Welsh opera star Charlotte Church amazed the public back in 1998 when at the age of 13 she released her debut classical album, the double platinum selling Voice Of An Angel. In 2005, Church switched genre and released her first pop album Tissues And Issues, which spawned four UK top 20 singles over the subsequent two years. In 2010, after a five year break from the music scene, Church released her sixth studio album Back To Scratch, which failed to crack the top 20. Despite her rather faltering comeback, Church has managed to make her name in several other ventures outside of her music, fronting her own chatshow between 2006 and 2008 and acting as a judge for reality competition Over The Rainbow in early 2010. Having grown up in the spotlight, Church came under regular scrutiny from the tabloid press as she matured, particularly when she discovered booze, boys and clubbing during her late teens. Church's private life has been reexamined recently in the wake of her split from rugby player fiance Gavin Henson, with whom she has two children.
