Daniel Radcliffe was catapulted to fame in 2000, when at just 11 years old he won the titular role in the movie adaptation of Harry Potter And The Philosophers Stone.
Fans, critics and JK Rowling - the author of the Harry Potter book series - all took Radcliffe to their heart upon the film's 2001 release and his charming portrayal has helped the franchise become the highest-grossing film series ever, with total worldwide takings of over $5 billion.
In July 2011, he appeared as Potter for the eighth and final time in the second instalment of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows. Radcliffe has also built up a wealth of stage experience and became notorious for stripping off in a 2007 production of Equus.
In 2012, his first non-Potter film The Woman In Black was released to much success.
