Russell Brand

Brand first came to public attention as the eccentric host of Big Brother companion show Big Mouth from 2004 to 2007, although he previously worked as an MTV VJ until he was fired for coming to work dressed as Osama Bin Laden the day after 9/11.

Other notable controversies from his career include 'Sachsgate' - his infamous prank phone calls with Jonathan Ross to Fawlty Towers star Andrew Sachs - as well as his death threat-inducing hosting role at the 2008 MTV VMA ceremony.

A former drug addict, sex addict and alcoholic, Brand has also been cast in several major motion pictures including Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Get Him To The Greek and Rock Of Ages.

He was married to popstar Katy Perry between October 2010 and December 2011.
