Selena Gomez
Selena Gomez, born in Texas, is known for starring in the Disney Channel television series Wizards of Waverly Place as Alex Russo. She has since formed a pop band called Selena Gomez & the Scene; they've released two albums, both of which have made the US top 10 in the Billboard 200. In 2011, she will star in the film Monte Carlo along with Katie Cassidy and Leighton Meester. Away from her acting and singing careers, Gomez is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and owns five rescue dogs. More recently, she has been romantically linked to Justin Bieber, much to the ire of many Bieber fans.
