Issue #37 will see Red Hulk battle the "most unexpected recruit" of the God of Fear.
"Red Hulk's intersection with 'Fear Itself' is really a defining moment for the character, showing what he's made of," said writer Jeff Parker. "It's really cool to be right up front during a happening like this.
"It also gives us the chance to show what goes on with the other world threats who aren't commanding the centre stage during a crucial event - in this case the newly returned M.O.D.O.K."
The publisher has already revealed that the Hulk will face Dracula in a three-issue miniseries from Victor Gischler (X-Men) that ties in to the event.
Matt Fraction and Stuart Immonen's core miniseries launched this week, a teaser for issue #2 following closely behind.
Hulk #37 will be penned by Parker and illustrated by Elena Casagrande. It will be released in July.
