Publisher Archie Comics has released promotional artwork from Jill Thompson, depicting a similar protest in the town of Riverdale.
The firm has not revealed which issue will feature the plot, but it is expected to run sometime after May, since full solicitation information is available until the end of that month.
Archie has previously tackled topical subject matter, dealing with same sex marriage in last year's Life with Archie #16. The series' first openly gay character Kevin Keller was recently given his own ongoing title.
The Occupy movement has created waves across the comics industry.
300 creator Frank Miller controversially blasted the protesters, dubbing them "thieves and rapists". Watchmen scribe Alan Moore pledged his support, calling the cause "a completely justified howl of moral outrage".
Archie Comics is yet to announce a release date for its Occupy protest storyline.
