comiXology's 2011 earnings have shed light on its dominance of the digital comics market.
The platform "produced $19 million (£12 million) in gross merchandise value" last year, reports PEHub.
The digital comics market was estimated to be worth $25 million (£16 million) in 2011, giving the distributor a 76% share in that overall figure.
It was estimated that comiXology will gross $70 million (£45 million) in 2012.
The distributor - which was founded in 2007 - was reported to have topped 50 million digital comics sales earlier in the year.
Five million of those were made in December 2011 alone.
Marvel Comics entered into a digital exclusive deal with comiXology in May of this year.
