PlayStation Vita was released across Europe and North America last night (February 21).
GAME's Oxford Street branch in London hosted the official UK launch, which saw hundreds of customers queuing to be among the first in the country to own the console.
Zohaib Ali, aged 21 from Uxbridge, waited since Sunday morning to be the first in line to pick up Sony's latest handheld.
The event also saw one fan win a year's supply of Vita games, as well as signings by Wipeout 2048 developer Ami Ledger.
It was followed by an invitation-only after-party at Oxford Street's PlayStation Vita Rooms.
PlayStation Vita saw its official Japanese launch in December.
