The social games giant made the announcement during its Zynga Unleashed 2012 press conference on Tuesday (June 26). Few details followed the announcement, though it was revealed that FarmVille 2 will feature 3D visuals, a first for the company.
Zynga also announced new titles in its 'Ville' series, ChefVille and The Ville. ChefVille will allow players to cook a variety of world cuisines by building specific cooking stations, while The Ville takes an approach similar to The Sims Social where players customize a personal avatar, their activities and build their house.
New features are set to arrive on the firm's online games portal Zynga.com. Live multiplayer will be available allowing users to compete head-to-head simultaneously against up to four players in games like Bubble Safari.
The web site will also see the addition of new features Zfriends and Social Stream, making it easier for users to connect both with friends and new users for its social games.
The Ville is set to launch on Facebook on Wednesday (June 27).
FarmVille 2 and ChefVille are both without release dates, but Zynga says they are both "coming soon".
