Dance Central's release date has been announced by Microsoft.
The Kinect-enabled dancing game will launch on October 16 in North America and October 19 in Europe. The announcement is accompanied by a new developer diary.
The developer diary explores the game's story mode, which sees dance crews travel back in time to solve dance crimes.
Players will travel back to different decades, tackling some of the famous dance crazes of each era.
Announced by Usher at Microsoft's E3 press conference, the game will once again take advantage of Kinect, enabling players to perform authentic dance moves.
Dance Central 3 will feature more than 40 songs such as Gloria Gaynor's 'I Will Survive', Backstreet Boys' 'Everybody (Backstreet's Back), LMFAO's 'Sexy and I Know It' and Los Del Rio's 'Macarena'.
Other confirmed songs include NE1's 'I Am The Best (Original Version)', Alice Deejay's 'Better Off Alone', J.J. Fad's 'Supersonic', Maroon 5 ft. Christina Aguilera's 'Moves Like Jagger', Vanilla Ice's 'Ice Ice Baby' and Village People classic 'Y.M.C.A.'.
