Released to coincide with the Summer Olympics, the P2 Games-made Peppa Pig's Sports Day app enables Peppa fans to "join the sporting fun by competing in their very own sports day event this summer".
The app, available for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch, includes a variety of activities in single and multiplayer games, featuring all the original characters, music and sound effects from the TV show.
Young players can participate in six different sporting and creative games, including an Obstacle Race, Long Jump, Tug of War and Making Rosettes.
The app also features a bonus sticker book where players collect virtual stickers of their favourite characters throughout each game, and then arrange them in a Gymnasium, Football Pitch or Basketball Court scene. It is available for £2.99 from the App Store.
In just seven days, Peppa Pig's Sports Day has topped the UK paid-for iPad apps chart on the iTunes App Store.
Its popularity has also pushed London 2012, the official mobile game of this summer's Olympics, into second place. The app, which features sports such as 100m, archery, Triple Jump, Pole Vault and 100m Butterfly, costs 69p.
In the free iPad chart, the official London 2012 app holds the top spot, offering information on all the athletes that are competing at the London Games.
