The fully-playable game is the search engine's latest doodle in celebration of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

After pressing the play button, users tap the left and right arrow keys to build up speed.
They then press either the up arrow or spacebar to leap over the hurdles in a bid to reach the finish line in the fastest time.
After marking the start of the games with a doodle featuring several sports, the search giant has featured individual events with new drawings each day.
Other recent playable Google Doodles have included a Moog synthesiser to mark the anniversary of the birth of inventor Robert Moog.
