This summer has already seen its fair share of sporting action with Spain lifting the European Championship trophy and Roger Federer overcoming Brit Andy Murray in the Wimbledon final.
This week, the nation gets another jolt of excitement when London hosts the Olympic games for the first time since 1948. Sport and cinema go hand-in-hand, of course, with movies such as Rocky, Chariots of Fire and Escape to Victory all establishing themselves as firm favourites among film fans.
As London 2012 draws closer, Digital Spy wants to know which sports movie is your favourite of all time. We've hand-picked 25 of the best, ranging from the fist-pumping triumph of The Karate Kid to the exhilaration of documentary Senna, for you to pick in the poll below.
Many great movies didn't make our cut of 25, so if there's one you're particularly fond of check 'Other' and leave your comments in the space below!
Thank you for voting in our poll. Check back soon to see the results!
