Few actors have experience a career quite so turbulent as Ben Affleck. An Oscar winner at the age of 25 thanks to his and Matt Damon's script for Good Will Hunting, Affleck's personal life so often overshadowed his movie work as he spent the late '90s and early '00s flipping between box office hits and flops.
After a stellar turn as tragic Superman actor George Reeves, Affleck reinvented himself as filmmaker of some talent with Gone Baby Gone and The Town. His third film Argo will open in cinemas later this year.
