Colin Firth has said that he is excited for Bridget Jones's Diary 3.
The King's Speech star revealed that he would love to be reunited with the cast of the popular films.
"It'll be nice [to be reunited]," Firth told CNN.
"It would be like one of those rather tempestuous '70s pop bands trying to get together in a way," he added. "We always had a good time."
In October, director Paul Feig exited the project after completing a new draft for the film. He is expected to be replaced by a British director.
The film will see Renée Zellweger reprise her role in the movie. Hugh Grant is also expected to return.
Production of the film is currently scheduled to begin in January 2012.
