Elizabeth Banks: 'Hunger Games shoot was difficult'

Elizabeth Banks has said that she found the Hunger Games shoot to be "difficult".
The 38-year-old actress, who plays Effie Trinket in the highly-anticipated film, revealed that temperatures on the set often soared above 100 degrees Fahrenheit (38 degrees Celcius).

"It was difficult to shoot under insane conditions, about 105 degrees," Banks told MTV.
"We had all these young kids there dropping like flies," she added. "It was madness."
Banks recently revealed that her uncle inspired her to pursue acting, adding that he changed the course of her life with his advice.
The actress has promised that The Hunger Games is a "very faithful adaptation" of the popular book series.
The Hunger Games opens in cinemas in the US and the UK on March 23.
