Updated: Cannes Film Festival pictures: Kylie Minogue, Brad Pitt, Cheryl Cole

This month, the Cannes Film Festival celebrates its 65th year with the likes of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Brad Pitt all heading to the South of France to premiere their latest movies.

Wes Anderson will open the festival with the world premiere of his latest film Moonrise Kingdom on May 16, while eagerly-awaited films such as Lawless, The Paperboy and Killing Them Softly will all be unveiled during the 12-day film event.
