Trouble with the Curve first trailer: Clint Eastwood returns to acting

The first trailer for Trouble with the Curve has appeared online.

The film marks Clint Eastwood's return to acting and has an all-star cast including Amy Adams, Justin Timberlake and John Goodman.



Matt Bush, Robert Patrick and Matthew Lillard also make appearances in the sports movie.

Trouble with the Curve sees Eastwood as an aging baseball scout whose daughter (played by Adams) agrees to accompany him on the last trip of his career to Georgia to secure a new player.

Timberlake will serve as Adams's love interest, a former New York Yankees player who now works alongside Eastwood's character.

Eastwood's long-time collaborator Robert Lorenz will direct Trouble with the Curve, which will open in theatres on September 21.
