Florence Welch has described her new single as "strange".
The Florence and the Machine frontwoman, whose new single 'Heavy In Your Arms' features on the new Twilight soundtrack, said that the track's lyrics are a good fit with the theme of the film.
"'Heavy In Your Arms' I suppose is about the weight of love, and how sometimes it can be a burden between two people," she said in a press release.
"I felt this was a strong theme in the Twilight series - is someone being rescued or are they being condemned, and is the love you carry bringing you down?"
She continued: "I recorded it with Paul one evening, using a lot of strange reversed vocal samples and big hip hop piano. It's basically inspired by 90's hip hop and gospel choirs, like most of my songs."
The track is the eighth to be released from her debut and fronts its re-release, titled Between Two Lungs.
The special edition features new artwork and an additional ten track disc, which includes a live recording of new song 'Strangeness & Charm', her Dizzee Rascal collaboration of 'You Got The Love' and a previously unreleased Yeasayer remix of 'Dog Days Are Over'.
Both 'Heavy In Your Arms' and the album reissue are released on November 15.
