One Direction unveil 'What Makes You Beautiful' video

One Direction have premiered their first music video.

The X Factor group can be seen hanging out on a Malibu beach in Los Angeles in the clip, which is for their debut single 'What Makes You Beautiful'.

Scenes in the promo include the guys hanging out with some female pals on the sand, as well as band member Harry Styles getting close to one of the ladies.



The pop-newcomers also get topless in the video after teasing fans with the prospect earlier this week.

'What Makes You Beautiful' will be available to download on September 11 and will serve as the lead single for One Direction's first studio album, which will be released later this year.

The track was written and produced by Britney Spears songwriter Savan Kotecha with Rami Yacoub and Carl Falk, while the video was directed by John Urbano.

The boyband have set a record by gaining the biggest amount of pre-orders for a single in Sony Music Label's entire history.
