Little Mix have teased details about their new single to Digital Spy.

The group, who are currently working on their debut album, described the track as "quite old-school" and "a bit different".

Watch Little Mix discuss their new single at the Brit Awards 2012 below:

Jade Thirwall said: "It's starting to come together a little bit now, especially the first single. We seem to be getting there - hopefully it will be out very, very soon.

"It's quite old-school - we're bringing back the old harmonies."

Describing their new track, Leigh-Anne Pinnock teased: "It's R&B-pop hip-hop kind of merged into one. It's just something a bit different."

Perrie Edwards added: "It's really feel-good. Well, we think so anyway!"

It was recently reported that Jessie J had written songs for the group's record.
