The record will be the first of three albums to be released over the coming year, and will be followed by ¡Dos! and ¡Tré!.

It has been speculated that bassist Mike Dirnt and drummer Tre Cool will appear on the subsequent releases in a similar fashion.
¡Uno! will be released in the UK on September 24 and in the US a day later, while ¡Dos! will follow on November 12 and 13.
¡Tré! will then be released on January 14, 2013 in the UK and a day later in the US to complete the trilogy.
Green Day have also released a new trailer for the first album of the series, which sees the band in the recording studio while a new track plays in the background.
