The singer-songwriter joins the likes of One Direction and Usher for the event that takes place across September at London's Roundhouse.
Sheeran will play on the second day of the festival on September 2, the day after Usher opens the event.
JLS, Olly Murs and Rebecca Ferguson were recently added to the festival's lineup, which also includes Noel Gallagher and Norah Jones.
Tickets for the gigs are given away through the festival's official website.
