The Girls Aloud star revealed that she plans to put out her first solo LP after some "exciting" events in the pipeline for later this year.
She told Broadcast Exchange: "There's quite a lot going on this year, but it's in the pipeline right now, so I can't really say much about that!
"Next year I am preparing for solo material, so watch this space."
Harding is currently promoting the 'Meet Britain' project, which sees celebrities and the public submit photographs of Britain, with the best going on display at an exhibition.
The star was recently reported to have written a number of songs for the record about her stint in rehab.
DJ and producer Roger Sanchez revealed last year that he was working on two tracks for the singer.
