Bieber joins Gwen Stefani's band No Doubt in the performance lineup.
The group will also reveal the first single from their highly-anticipated sixth studio album during the ceremony.
"I can't believe this is actually happening," Stefani said about the upcoming performance. "The idea of playing our new music live is heaven on earth. Can't wait to share it!"
The Teen Choice Awards 2012 will air on July 22 on Fox.
