Major Lazer confirm album collaborations

Details of the new Major Lazer album Free the Universe have been released.

Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig, Bruno Mars and Shaggy all make guest appearances on the follow-up to Guns Don't Kill People... Lazers Do.

Flux Pavilion and Wyclef Jean are also among contributors to the new record, which will be released on November 5.

Major Lazer is now headed solely by Diplo after he parted ways with Switch at the end of last year.

The DJ has recently produced tracks for the likes of Usher, Justin Bieber, Beyoncé, No Doubt and Marina and the Diamonds.

Diplo also produced Snoop Dogg's upcoming reggae album Reincarnated, which the rapper will release later in the year under the name Snoop Lion.
