Producer Jim Beanz - who has previously worked with Britney Spears, Katy Perry and Justin Timberlake - has described them as "four little stars".

"I did two tracks with Little Mix which are both uptempo," Beanz told Digital Spy. "One has more of a hip-hop-meets-pop sound, while the other is more pop-dance.

"I won't find out until the end if they've made the album, but their A&R team listened to them and loved them."

The musician recently likened Little Mix to Destiny's Child and has predicted that the British four-piece have the potential to be just as successful.

"They are very hard-working," he explained. "Our chemistry was interesting because I used to be in a group years ago, so I was quite good at making sure they belong together.

"They are four little stars and it's all so new to them, but they really listened well."

Little Mix will release 'Wings' as their first single proper on August 26, while their debut album will follow later in the year.
