The Voice UK finalist told Digital Spy that he has been working on his new collection of material with coach will.i.am, as well as providing vocals for the US rapper's own solo project.

"The album will probably be out in about three months," James explained backstage at T4 on the Beach. "You can expect soulful songs about my life - that's the only way I can describe it."
Asked if will.i.am will be pulling in some big-name collaborators for the project, James confirmed that the Black Eyed Peas star is involved with the record.
"Yeah, we've already started working [together]," he said. "He's going to be doing some stuff on my album and I'm going to do some stuff on his.
"He's wicked. He's really got my back. He wasn't in it just for The Voice, he's in it for the long haul."
