The X Factor champ has teamed up with DJ Erick Morillo - whose previous hits include 1993's 'I Like To Move It (!?) - and has latched on to the current craze for a handbag house anthem. "There's an elephant standing in the room," she purrs over a slick mix of smooth Euro-synths and steadily-building club beats - delivering a pre-chorus more satisfying than a tub of Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough ice cream, before said dessert splatters all over the wall from the sheer brilliance of the actual chorus.

We can safely say that 'Elephant' was worth the extended wait. Sure, it's been unnecessarily Auto-Tuned within an inch of it's life, and it could definitely do with just one more breakdown at the end, but on repeated listens the song gets better and better. Let's just hope radio picks it up and makes it the hit it deserves to be.
