86-year-old gymnast wows crowd with cartwheels, head spin - video

An 86-year-old gymnast has wowed a crowd at a World Cup tournament in Germany.

Johanna Quaas demonstrates age-defying moves as she performs a series of cartwheels and head spins.

Quaas also balanced upside down while holding up her own body weight mid-air.

A YouTube video of her performance has been watched nearly 2 million times in less than a week since it was posted.

Despite holding 11 gymnastic medals in her long career, Quaas insists that she practises the sport "just for fun".
