A bride has given birth shortly after tying the knot.
The ceremony took place in a town hall in Western France. The couple married and went outside for some traditional photos when the bride began to feel unwell.
The baby was due on July 14 but arrived early on Saturday (July 7). The bride had suffered some false alarms earlier in the day, which nearly caused the wedding to be called off.
The town mayor said that the bride was "definitely a bit worn out, but [they] put that down to the stress of the wedding", adding: "I tried to hurry it up a bit so that she didn't get too tired."
After the photos, the emergency services were called but arrived too late as she gave birth to a little boy at 12.15pm.
