The model told OK that she had accepted O'Hara's proposal at the Four Seasons Hotel in Paris.
Lloyd said: "I had no idea he was going to propose and over dinner I asked him, 'When do you think we're going to get engaged?'. Then I said, 'Will it be 2011?'.
"As soon as he asked me, I burst into tears like a little baby. When he put the ring on my finger the light show at the Eiffel Tower went off and it was sparkling all over the city. My ring is perfect. It's everything I ever dreamed of and more."
She added of the wedding, planned for 2011: "I thought maybe I'd have some of my celebrity friends. It's definitely going to be a big celebrity do - Jamie's got all his footballer mates and I've got my celebrity friends too."
Lloyd said that this was the first time she had been engaged and denied past reports that she had planned to marry ex-partners Teddy Sheringham and DJ Ironik.
