Derek Hough has reportedly warned Cheryl Cole not to get back with ex-husband Ashley.
The dancer, who apparently ended his relationship with Cheryl last month, is said to be furious at reports she has reunited with the footballer.
The pair met when Cheryl returned to LA last week, and Hough warned her that he won't support her if Ashley cheats again, the Sunday Mirror reports.
"You are twice the person he is and you deserve so much more," he apparently told her. "I spent a year mending your heart and now you want to go back to the man who broke it. Surely you can remember how devastated you were after he cheated on you?
"Do you really want to put yourself through that again? A cheat will never change and whatever you think, he will betray you. If you ever felt anything for me then you'll listen to my advice. If he breaks your heart again I will not be your shoulder to cry on ."
A friend added: "[Derek] knows nothing is ever going to happen between Cheryl and him now. [He] still has very strong feelings for Cheryl and he's been terribly hurt by everything that's happened."
Cheryl apparently warned Hough that he needs to accept her decision if he wants to remain friends with her.
It was previously reported that Hough had called Cheryl "weak and stupid" in an earlier phone call.
