The former glamour model will be among the guests on tonight's edition of the current affairs programme, during which she will discuss the PIP breast implants scandal.
"Reaaally excited about tonight!!! (sic)" Price told her Twitter followers, adding: "its going to be very interesting and first time i have done it."
Retweeting a fan's response, the 33-year-old teased that "not many will expect it", before the programme's official account confirmed the appearance, adding: "We're looking forward to it too #newsnight @MissKatiePrice"
Hinting at the topic of discussion, Newsnight said that the episode will "ask the government who should take responsibility for the faulty French breast implants".
The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Pope, who is represented by Price's Black Sheep Management, previously spoke out about having the faulty Poly Implant Prothèse (PIP) breast implants.
Angered by the situation, Pope said: "I just thought like, how the hell has this happened? How can 40,000 women be in the same situation now; where we'll either not have an operation and keep them in us and think it might be fine, it might not… Or we have to now go and have another major operation that probably none of us really wanted in the first place."
Jeremy Paxman hosts Newsnight tonight from 10.30pm on BBC Two.
