"It's amazing. I find it hugely flattering. Maybe it's wrong but I do," she is quoted as saying in The Sun.
"Actually, I just posted a picture of my granny on Twitter and somebody said she was a GILF! That's a bit wrong really as she's 92."
The former Big Brother host was recently tipped to be part of the BBC's London Olympics hosting team.
However, a BBC spokesperson later denied the reports linking her with a presenting job.
McCall's publicist told Digital Spy that reports of her presenting at the Games had been taken out of context from an interview about her role as a Team GB ambassador.
The publicist said: "Davina is one of 12 Team GB ambassadors and in her role as a member of the programme and also as a passionate cyclist Davina will be undertaking a number of media roles and interviews to galvanise support for the nation's athletes and specifically those on two wheels."
