Speaking to journalists including Digital Spy at the launch of her new novel In The Name of Love, Price dismissed comparisons to Douvall and explained that unlike Simon Cowell's ex-lover, she knows "when to stop" going under the knife.

"Alicia Douvall. To me that is having a problem with surgery, I don't understand [it]. She doesn't have anyone around her to say, 'Look what are you doing'.
"That [amount of work] doesn't [make you] look younger, that's an illness. It's sad. Some people don't know when to stop."
Reaffirming her own stance on surgery, Price continued: "I don't need to go under. Yeah I'll have Botox, but who doesn't do that? If my mum does it, I'll do it... if you haven't [had it], then start.
"I talk about it and I think that's why people think I'm so 'surgery, surgery'. I don't say I'm natural."

Price did confess, however, that she has started to pay more attention to her waistline.
"I haven't worked out for about three months," she claimed. "I eat s**t, I have not stopped eating... I have a laugh with it. I can still fit in my clothes."
Price also said at the launch that she would like to see Kelly Brook or Megan Fox play her onscreen.
