The 18-year-old cleared up speculation sparked by footage of the 'What Makes You Beautiful' band performing in Texas on Sunday (June 24), in which he appeared to lean over for a smooch with Horan.
Asked by a Twitter user if he really had tried to lock lips with the Irish singer, Styles replied: "No, I was talking to him and it looked like we got freaky."
Though he may not have wanted to kiss Horan, Styles clearly did receive a peck from Liam Payne and get his shirt lifted up by Zayn Malik during the Houston concert.

Horan recently had his romantic life publicly discussed by his father, who stated that the former X Factor star probably isn't a virgin.
"It was hard [for Niall] to meet girls, but that's certainly changed now," 51-year-old Bobby said. "I wasn't in the house all the time, so I don't really know what went on when I wasn't there."
