The 30 Rock actor deactivated his official Twitter account on Monday (July 2), just hours after posting a final message to his followers.
"It's been fun," Baldwin wrote in a now-deleted tweet.
Baldwin previously took a break from Twitter when he was kicked off an American Airlines plane for clashing with a flight attendant in December 2011.
His latest exit from the social networking website comes amid a variety of developments in the actor's personal life.
Baldwin was involved in a physical altercation on Friday (June 30) with a photographer who allegedly bothered his New York City neighbour.
The star also married Hilaria Thomas at the historic Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral in Manhattan over the weekend.
