Katie Holmes 'dead-set' on Suri custody in Tom Cruise divorce battle

Katie Holmes is refusing to compromise on custody of her daughter Suri, reports have claimed.

The 33-year-old recently filed for divorce from her husband Tom Cruise and is now hoping to retain full custody of Suri, 6.



Recent reports suggested that the former couple had agreed to avoid an acrimonious split for the sake of their daughter and they were thought to be in talks to negotiate a divorce settlement.

However, a source has now alleged that Holmes is standing firm on matters concerning her daughter.

"She is dead-set on keeping custody of Suri," the insider told Us Weekly. "Katie is not going to compromise on certain issues, all regarding Suri."

Another source claimed: "This is about protecting her daughter."

Holmes, who has returned to work on her new movie Molly, was recently forced to deny rumours that she had filed for an emergency custody hearing.
