Lorig was competing in the women's individual archery and came in fourth place, losing the Bronze medal position to Mexico's Mariana Avitia.
In the overall outcome, Korea's Ki Bo Bae claimed Gold, and Aida Roman, also from Mexico, took Silver.
Lorig has previously competed at the Olympics. London 2012 is her fifth appearance at the sporting event and it also marks 20 years since winning her first medal.
Her first great Olympic achievement was winning a bronze in the team archery event in Barcelona in 1992.
