Shifty Shellshock has been convicted of domestic violence and drugs charges.
The Crazy Town frontman - real name Seth Binzer - entered a no contest plea in court on Tuesday (July 31), relating to the abuse charges against his girlfriend.
He has been sentenced to three years' probation.
Shellshock released a public apology for his actions, telling TMZ: "I would like to sincerely apologise to the parties involved. I feel very bad for those who I have offended and those who have endured this situation."
His representative added: "Seth has completely changed his life around and has checked into a highly regarded drug and alcohol treatment centre where he will be working with them to restructure his life over the next two years."
He was arrested back in February after a shop employee saw him fighting with his girlfriend. Police searched the singer and found cocaine on his person.
The rapper has suffered from drug addiction in the past, and has appeared on US shows Celebrity Rehab and Sober House.
Crazy Town are said to be working on the follow-up to their 2002 album Dark Horse.
