To mark the end of one of Great Britain's proudest eras, the closing ceremony will showcase one grand party to say goodbye to the Games, before passing the torch to Rio for 2016.
From Usain Bolt's double-treble, an amazing medal haul for Great Britain and the likes of Mo Farah and Jessica Ennis becoming instant heroes, it has been a fortnight that will live long in the memory.
The event has been named a 'Symphony of British Music', which aims to celebrate the best of UK music, culture and fashion over the past decades. Muse, Spice Girls, Take That, The Who and George Michael are just some of the names expected to make an appearance during the evening.
So after our best-ever Olympic games of modern times, collect your flags just one more time, grab a cup of tea (or a beer) and celebrate what has been an epic summer for every single one of us.
