Ryan Friedlinghaus of West Coast Customs - the car remodelling company featured on MTV's Pimp My Ride - assured will.i.am that he would be able to locate the car using a tracking device his staff had installed.
"Not to worry Team Wcc put a tracking device on the car! It will be found," Friedlinghaus tweeted.
Yesterday (August 16), he announced: "I think I have some good news for you... We found it!Thanks to technology... It's safe and on its way back to Official Wcc Headquarters!!! Hard work dedication."
will.i.am later tweeted: "Busy in the studio working on @NicoleScherzy album...tomorrow I'm going to pick up my car from @SelfMadeRyan...#bestnewsever #willpower."
He had previously received a video from a person claiming to be holding his car "hostage".
