The actress and model, who recently joined the US drama as media mogul Diana Payne, took 14-year-old Brooke on set with her last week.

Hurley wrote on Twitter: "Shooting Gossip Girl today with my future teenage stepdaughter Brooke in tow. Her first time on a set, so all very exciting!"
She later added: "The cast of Gossip Girl were so nice to SW's daughter-autographs, photos-the lot. One v happy teenager."
Brooke wrote on her page: "New York was fab! Everyone at Gossip Girl was amazing thanks for making my experience fantastic!"
Shane also wrote on the microblogging site: "My daughter just met Chace Crawford, Leighton Meister (sic) & Ed Westwick on set.. Her quote: Chace is so hot, he's better than food."
Crawford recently described Hurley as "charming" and "gorgeous", adding: "She's kind of the epitome... of the ideal woman."
Shane's ex Simone Callahan, who is the mother of Brooke, 12-year-old Jackson and 10-year-old Summer, admitted last year that Shane and Hurley's engagement came as "a little bit of a shock" to her and her children, but added: "He can do what he wants."
