Lacey Turner: 'Hollyoaks star sister Daisy never wanted to act'

Ex-EastEnders star Lacey Turner has claimed her sister Daisy was never interested in acting.

Daisy Turner joined the cast of Hollyoaks last year as the mysterious Jenny.



When asked by the Radio Times whether Lacey had inspired her siblings, she said: "Maybe I have, because none of them were interested in acting at all, especially Daisy."

The Stacey Slater actress added that she believes that her 10-year-old sister Lily Harvey is destined for a long career in acting.

"With Lily, it's in her blood - she's a drama queen! And I think she'll probably carry it on," she said.

Harvey has had two stints in EastEnders as Shenice Quinn, the daughter of Kat Slater's old friend Martina, in the last year.

Being Human star Lacey Turner recently revealed that "curiosity" made her leave the BBC soap in 2010.

Lacey, also working on Sky Living's Bedlam, commented on her future plans: "I really want to do theatre - and then figure out what it is like."
